Man, since I joined this place I haven't posted one journal. I figured I'd try and make myself a little less static to all of you, rather than just being that one guy who posts something every couple of years or whatever. Well, my name is Adam and I'm 21. I'm an art student working my way through college. I know, how common right? Well, other than all of that, I can say I have always been into drawing. Ever since I was little, I can always remember having a pencil in my hand drawing stuff. I used to watch my brother draw when I was growing up. He was really talented. I would just mimic him. I pretty much taught myself anything I know. Only until college did I take any art classes, and even those were basic instruction free. I'm proud of that, but Ive always been open to tips and things. But I used to mainly draw only comic book stuff. Always guys too, mainly because thats all I know. I grew up drawin X men and such, so. I studied anatomy on my own time as well, learning the muscle and bone structure as well as I could. I apply this heavily in most of my drawings, but I've begun working on drawing things while looking at them. My newest deviation is actually my final for art. It's a charcoal subtractive portrait. Check it out if you please. But, I also play music. I'm in a band currently and we are soon to be going record in Arizona. I'm into all sorts of music, but right now it's mainly hardcore/metalcore/grindcore and such on my top. But also ambient techno like Telafon Tel Aviv and stuff like that. I'll listen to anything though. But thats enough about me for now. CHeck my newest deviation out!
